FAUX WOOD

Creating wood textures, from faded drift wood to dark mahogany, or from red oak  to teak, not only "ties a room together" but enables the use of wood when the material is either not available, not practical or just cost prohibitive.

Days before this image was taken, the beams, crown molding, chair rail, base, mantle, and all of the eight windows were white hence turning a "cold" room into a warm media room.
